无锡市第一中学打造了一支师德高尚、业务精良的教师队伍，先后培养出省特级教师14人，省、市名教师、市学科带头人、教学能手、教学新秀50多人，获得全国劳动模范等国家级表彰的有18人、获得省劳动模范等省级表彰的有60人。近三年来，我校教师获得国家、省、市级以上各类学科教学竞赛大奖的有125人次。无锡市一中这一片热土吸引了一大批有志于教育事业的青年教师，每年都有二千多名具有相当实力的优秀大学毕业生到我校应聘，我校引进的教师已经以研究生为主，目前拥有硕士学位或在读教育硕士的教师超过50人。一支年富力强、乐于奉献、既有丰富的教学经验又善于吸收新知识、运用新科技的中青年骨干教师队伍已经形成。
    Wuxi No.1 Senior High School has developed a group of teachers with gracious virtue and high quality. Our school has fostered 14 Provincial Super Teachers and over 50 provincial and civic famous teachers, Civic Disciplines leaders, Teaching Experts and Teaching Standouts. 18 teachers gained the national prize such as National Models; 60 teachers gained the provincial prizes such as Provincial Models. In the last three years, 125 teachers won the great awards in all kinds of national, provincial and civic competitions. Wuxi No.1 Senior High School has been attracting a great deal of young teachers dedicated to education. Every year will see over 2,000 excellent graduates coming to compete for the jobs of our school. The introduced teachers in our school now is mainly based on postgraduates with over 50 teachers owning a masters degree or pursuing a masters degree on education. A core group of experienced young and middle-aged teachers has been formed who are in the prime of their lives, willing to dedicate, and good at absorbing new knowledge and applying the knowledge.
